In Kodiak  a 5.2 Magnitude Earthquake shook the Island City and the peoples of the residents got panicked after they felt the shake of a measured earthquake at  Ahkiok late Monday mid-noon and the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center reports that the quake hit at 5:45 p.m. Monday and it  was located at southwest of the city of Kodiak at the distance of 90 miles.

The center’s director Paul Whitmore  on Tuesday afternoon said that the initial magnitude of the quake was calculated at 5.2 but it has been updated by the USGS to 5.5,the quakes originated path occurred at 30 miles beneath Alitak Bay, off the village of Ahkiok after that no of quakes frequently shakes the region,but there was no warnings were issued for that quake.
